evening all been windy here in paignton fed up with the red soil want brown soil,hubby built me a four foot long planter looks like a coffin so ive been chucking snails over the field,then potted up some cabbages.over allotment tomorrow to see if anything is doing,listening to capital gold remembering the sixties.

hi all i have a lovely hellibore growing in a big pot the flowers now are starting to fade,how and when can i collect the seeds from it,ive noticed in the middle of some of the flowers there are four pod like seeds can anyone tell me how i go about this and are they easy to do, thanks guys.

The daftest thing you've done in your garden

made ginger beer for the first time so proud was i.bottled it and put it on the landing in the night we heard an enormouse bang thought it was a blinking bomb but no, me silly idiot put screw caps on the bottles instead of corks,all the bottles exploded the glass got stuck in the wall. we could of been dead.never again

hi jennybee how about filling all the gaps in with soil then planting little alpines in them they will spread and look pretty theres lots of ones with fowers that will trail over the rocks
