Using plastic non heated propagators for flower seeds

hi wendy well this year i have sown all my seeds in one of those plastic three tier mini greenhouses put them outside on the patio and they are all doing well i kept it shut an d the condensation waters them. i took a chance and it seems to be working,will wait and see.

hi john i have cotoeaster and the birds are always in it and you can trim it if it gets to big,also pyracantha is evergreen and has loads of berries which they love im sure you will do well.

What about a seperate section for absolute beginers.

yes figrat,hubby works there actually in the gardens at the moment they are experimenting on potatoes one lot growing in sand,and one lot in coconut matting both are doing well,the other thing is spinich without soil for birds eye again in coi matting from seed to plant in four weeks,as i live right near the zoo i wake up to the gibbons calling every morning,what a racket they make.

hi i find seaweed is fantastic on my raised beds i add it every year when the soil level drops and compost is great as well.

wind chimes i dont mind,my neigbor has just bought one of those plastic croaking frogs that have a sensor and whenever a cat passes it goes croak croak croak really loud its driving me NUTS all night long tried throwing something at it from bedroom window and missed hit her shed instead ooops she loves it and wont move it arrrrg

fantastic alan,my allotment is also on a hill so im going up there tomorow to make sure its still there and has not been blown on the beach we have had gales the last couple of days so bad that all the beach roads have been shut oh dear, will let you know if its still there
