yea virago definetly cover the fences with roses or clematis i have a small garden also but there is so much in it i have gone for the cottage garden,not everyones taste i know but if there is a bit of soil  i can see well in goes a plant but in the summer it one mass of flowers and veg in pots but you have a great lawn i must say,it will take time for you to get it how you like it,but hey ho we all know a little bit about something happy gardening

today its steak and kidnet pudd with roasties and veg and for dessert pumpkin pie by the way the fat free sugar free cake was fantastic will make it again  happy eating to you all

thank you so much for your advice.i havent got a greenhouse but i have a shed and lots of bubblewrap do i leave them in soil or just in a pot

salmon in pomegranite sauce,broccoli,carrots sweet potatoe,yuk sick of healthy eating.making a fat free suger free cake possibly taste free will let you know how it tastes

no only two years old somebody gave me a few shoots in a little pot they flowered lovely last year and this year there wasent  even one flower although they grew around 3ft high they were shooting up really fast now there are about twenty big stems

i had the same problem,so i got so fed up with it i chopped the trunk to about 2ft off the ground thinking i had killed it,it looked a bit naff for a while then lo and behold it started shooting like crazy and now its bigger than ever in just a year its twice the size so i also dont know what to do this year good luck

what do i do about my large group of cannas that did not flower this year,so i thought after some advice from you all i would dig them up so how do i do this ,if i dig them up in a big clump it will be around 3ft square i wont have a pot big enough and do i leave the soil on,do i seperate them and are they bulbs,please help as i am new to these plants
