Posted: 29/06/2013 at 23:56

rasberries - I had a cane at the back of my flower bed and now they are massive and have tripled if not more in size. What to do?? I have no space designated for them but would hate to waste them next yearHi wow do you divide and what do i do. Will they grow in something else??

they fruionion last years growth and they are fruiting now. Any help would none grateful as my partner loves them but they are against a fence under conifers and are swamping the flower bed so I have strapped them back.

Missing Spring Fun

Much to my partners dismay I have been buying perennials so looks like more of the lawn must go!!!

Missing Spring Fun

Posted: 07/06/2013 at 23:24

Call me sad but i am missing spring and all the fun of sowing and pricking on etc. All has been set out and lout in final positions and tomato and veg all sorted too. Only think left is Astrantia seedlings from winter ripe seed just showing first true leaves. Also phone perennial lobelia my partner tipped on the lawn by accident and I tried to scoop up, I'm seeing tiny plants coming, no idea if they will last the season or what to do with them.?!??,

but what next, not enough weeding  or tasks to keep me occupied! When do people start off their winter bedding and winter interest for borders! Ideas.... Thanks

Like that idea. I think I need to searcfruit an around the year plant then I will be ok. I don't have enough space or tubs to have summer and winter cover plants.

So anyone know of an easy all year round climber. That is pretty in summer and winter??

I have my thinking cap on with some if these ideas, it is badly positioned as takes prime view from in conservatory and in garden. It's nagging at die so I think I will have to do something.

I like the idea of clematis up v shaped trellis so 2 of us could lift. But this won't solve the prob in winter!!

The wally that put our decking down before we moved in left no gaps between or at the edges and he didn't lay it with a run off so it ponds in the centre!!! I have drilled some holes but they swell shut!!!

Figrat the oil delivery man told me not to put anything on or attached to the tank as its not good for the tank! I get a beautiful view of it from my conservatory as well as from the garden!!!
