I got 2 primula vialii from sainsbury homebase for 1.50 each, planted the root and they are up and away now! Bargains to he had if you look hard enough. I also got seed tatties for ??1 as. The spruts had stared to come through the bags, they are now in buckets in the conservatory!

Where do you shop - for greenhouse benches etc

Do the tidying, crack on. Then get a pen and paper and hot down a map of what you have and where. Speak to friends, neighbours etc and I bet you come home with no end if free plants!! But having a plan of shapes etc helps to keep your head in gear for what your aiming at. That's what I'm going to do when I change my lawn into raised beds.

What you have is so exciting! Keep a picture diary week by week and then look back in 6 months and you will feel so proud.

Also peek at the neighbours gardens and see what they grow well and you like And what you don't like. Be weary of rapid growing things that can take over if you take your eye off the ball, like ivy, hate the stuff!!

That's how we cook stinky fish! On the camping burner in the garden, quite good fun to be honest!!

She is fear aggressive and doesn't like strangers, being touched or new dogs unless I have introduced them through work not letting them intro themselves. She doesn't like cuddles or being petted and will sound v v aggressive if strangers try, then shoots off and cowers. Hundreds on vets trainers etc and nothing has worked, they all say its in her!!

mines half patterdale half lab and she has a book of issues. Only dog I ever know that has been so bad!!! But in some ways you can't fault her, top tip never let your OH buy an only pup where you can't meet both parents. But he said she was cute and he couldn't leave her!!!!

My dog loves the garden but my biggest issue is inky would rather run on my plants and Pee there than on the lawn. I have had to put sticks and wire up at about a foot and a foot and a half tall to keep her off. But at every opportunity she will hop over the wall and in to the garden rather than the lawn!!!

Imagine my excitement....
