Peaches!!!! Intreguing!

I take pride in the toms but I hate eating them, only in cooking, but he insists on an eating variety. I has a fleshy plumb the year before last and it was brill for cooking and for sarnies. Just racking my brain for the name.

Sweet pepper seed germination - epic failure!

Posted: 01/04/2013 at 21:57
On the 10 march I set 6 sweet pepper (sweet sunshine f1) 5 days ago I got very excited as the guest seed popped through. Now nothing I have one little seedling and 5 other bare pots. Is all lost, has other people got experience of this? I kept the propogator in the window so it was always between 15-21 degrees. I was hoping for a prolific hanging basket full if these peppers but now it looks like I may have one, if the seedling comes ok. The seed was 2.69 as its a revolutionary type according to the write up. Sad!

They are up in the wall in my back garden, with my Hosta tubs, waiting for them to peep through! Hopefully if its a ground frost I will get away with it but will have a think if it snows. Ran out if garden tasks to do today, feels depressing now, back waiting to sow my courgette seeds!!

To be honest fresh horse muck is more likely to scold my Grandad said. The yard has it removed my a farmer weekly so it never gets well rotted! I have thought about collecting some and bringing home but was unsure how long it would take before I could use. Any ideas??

I keep hinting he should get in and do this but he is waiting for his tomato to ripen!!! At this rate we will have tom's coming out if our ears! We have 6 GD from aldi looking v strong and he wants to try his own. I don't even like Tom's, only when cooked!!

Builders buckets in the plastic greenhouse me thinks!! We had a terrible Tom crop last year! Was v disheartening,
