Primroses are never miserable, they are the finest flowers to show themselves in the early part of the year. I remember a little poem about them from childhood, "dear little primrose the first of the year, coming to tell us that April is near. Shining so brightly although it is cold; show us sweet primrose your star of pale gold". I just love the natural ones.
Am waiting now to sow some seeds , it's too cold here at the moment.
