English vs Spanish bluebells

Posted: 09/04/2016 at 19:06

I have Spanish ones, and I have developed a new technique to dealing with them having discovered that they are very deep in the ground and digging them up was proving to be v difficult  I am pulling off/cutting off the leaves before they flower with the thought that without the leaves they can't gather the goodness for next year  I started last year, and there were definitely less of them this year

OH and I had a trip out today.... and I bought some new scaffolding

Meant to say I went to RHS Hyde Hall on Wed  Very lovely show of spring bulbs, helibores, magnolias and camellias  No pics taken though  Biggest mission for me is to come back in the summer.... never seem to have managed that for some reason

Cripes David, that must have been scary for you too  Well done for stopping and commiserations re the speeding ticket!

I have been out today too... Ma and Pa Panda came round to admire the fixed fence and we set too the garden doing some tidying up. Pa tackled a rather pesky bramble and I tried to avoid the neighbour at the bottom of the garden...

Clari, I agree with GWRS, a badge from each unit would be a great idea.... and you could offer them one too that they could buy for their sleepover, unless the museum already does one?  We Guiders love a badge, and I think Scouters are the same!

Decided to pop out to bingo tonight to distract myself.... it worked, but I didn't win.

Am steering away from crispy foods - had soup for tea

So, I have a rather (understatement) sore mouth  How is that I had enough room to grow my wisdom teeth but not the room to remove them.... it took up quite a long time, and my dentist said that he definitely had a work out, but the tooth came out whole so that was good!
