It is officially a deceased fritillary  Went to look today and half the 'petals' have fallen off. Fingers crossed another one comes up (I planted more than one!)

Evening

Had a lovely day with the APs. We had lunch outside on the patio  Not terribly sunny but nice and warm! And what made it even nicer what's the lack of noise from surrounding gardens

You make a valid point Mike. I am by no means a prissy gardener with neat soil round each plant, but I do need some room for those I've bought. I do like the wee blue flowers though so they'll probably stay for a while

I don't remember it last year. The flowers are pretty. Will hoik out though if we think it's invasive as the last plant I left (columbine) has gone mental, and I wish I'd got rid of it last year!

I've got this in bloom, not sure how though! Don't think anyone has told it winter has been!

My tulips in the ground are up. Ones in pots are all leaf no flowers - yet!

Don't think that'll help though. Soz!

Lily, you've got to love new shoes! I've coveted them for a looong time!

Glad we have all had a good day.

Need to get off my booty and finish tidying the living room but I am enjoying the voice at the mo. . . still the night is young. .  .
