Morning all! Off to get my hair done at my friends  Will catch you all later

Help me visualise my 2014 cottage garden flowers!

I can help (I hope) with a pic of night scented stock, from last year:

It has a very beautiful scent. It was a surprise, it came out a box of scented seed mix (£1 from Pound shop). I liked it so much I have two packets of seeds to sew this year

Blimey Stacey, that's one heck of a cake! Better not show my OH, he bought me one of those cake moulds for Christmas and he'll want me to bake him one if I show him yours! Glad LO was out helping in the garden, does she pick the worms up and put them back? I do, but only with gloves on

Happy Birthday Archie's no 2 son

Stacey, have you morphed into Gardengirl..? That's the amount of work she normally get through  Am now feeling like the planting and weeding I did was nothing by comparison

Ooops! My bad!

Nope  You're not alone there Lori

Anyone dismantled a greenhouse? Easy or not?

Congratulations

Tell him how much a new one is and then whisper how much yours was!

I have a friend who never tells her husband how much things cost, she always knocks off at least 30% of the actual price

Hi Kef, new babies planted, and some that should have been planted before now

Love the 'non hellebore' discovery  Has made me want a lime green one now! Will need to leave it till next year as I will need a new bed for all my hellebore desires   Have done a quick count and have 9 baby hellebores that aren't big enough to go in the ground yet - should be next year though. Memo to self, stop buying 'instant' plants and remember the ones you have

ooo Columbo. . . . haven't seen one of those for ages. Love how he bothers the culprit. Don't let that naughty Kef distract you Dove!

Well, I guess we are all out in our gardens today  Just back from town, somehow 7 plants from the market jumped into my bags  I am now the proud owner of 3 foxgloves (2 named, one surprise) 3 campanulas and something else (can't remember, sorry). Once I've finished my coffee I'll be out there with my spade and trowel planting

Help for flooded gardens

Posted: 01/03/2014 at 09:38

We are having some gardeners visit work (James Wong and Christine Walkden are 2 I can remember) for a seminar, and tickets are balloted. I have put my name down for one (no promises I'll win a spot) and we get to ask a question. mine relates to the flooding and gardening  Will let you all know if I am successful and what, if any, answer I get!

Cross your fingers for me
