Urgh. . . it's the weekend, what am I doing being awake so early? Dove, does the body clock you lent me not have a weekend setting?

Morning all  Tis overcast here but not cold. I fear we may be in for the mugginess others had yesterday  Today I will mostly be wandering into the town for a Fathers Day card and gift. I might purchase some more plants too. Well it would be rude not to

This is my fav bit of my garden at the mo. The purples are electric agains the grey colour of the fence. Not sure if it translates in the pic.

Following the amazing success of the last plant id request, I have another I don't know:

This isn't in my garden  but in the grounds of the Cathedral. It is taller than me (5foot 10) and really rather lovely. Anyone know what it is? If it is worth it I might try to pinch some seeds when it gets to that point

Help please . . . .

Hi oh knowledgable ones

Can you help with an id of this plant please:

I have mislaid the label and, unlike some of my friends, I don't keep a list of those I have planted

Many thanks

Evening all

No camping KEF, just spent the evening there. Still, no toilets though, let alone en suites!

MrsG, think KEF was holding down the chair with her bottom!

Too many posts to comment on - I am in awe of those that can remember from one page to the next what everyone has done.

Watered the garden when I got home and tried to quell the impulse to duck every time a swift whirled over head. We get loads of them round my way as our houses have appropriate nesting spots in the eaves of our houses. Haven't got one nesting yet but hope to one day
