Day out to RHS Hyde Hall

Artjak, just to rub it in, it takes about 20 mins to get there, if that! Haven't been this year yet though . May have to persuade Ma and Pa into a visit (shouldn't be too hard ). I do remember they also 'put on' a good fritillary show - if you catch my drift!

Nut, snowdrops are in

Sorry Gg, no words initially - now I can see them! Odd!

I have some blind Daffs, but otherwise think they have mostly all come up (sorry) apart from the ones in pots  They are quite a bit behind

Have you lost your voice Gg?

Mean to add, GW is 100% fine on the iPlayer  no sound loss or need for subtitles

Morning all

Lie in complete, giving the sun a chance to come out - sorry to those with none.

Breckie is next on my agenda, tea and toast - with a choice of marmite or pâté  I do have some home made raspberry jam (gift) or home made marmalade (also gift) if I fancy something fruity

Following breckie will be the planting of the hellebore and the snowdrops. It does mean though that I can't wait for next spring to see how they are all doing!

Will also probably engage in some weeding too. I hate doing it which is why I'm never on top of it! The celandine that I thought so pretty last year (before forum and better knowledge!) has romped somewhat (massive understatement) is starting to flower. Will have to try to keep in it check somehow  Can see a lot of work coming

Must remember to check for buds on my camellia.

See you all later!

Help me visualise my 2014 cottage garden flowers!

Thought it was just me with the sound issue. Am going to try iPlayer taller to see if it is any better

Evening all! Had a good night tonight, and the girls had fun, so all good

Looking forward to the garden tomorrow
