Do like a bit of bamboo, like you like cakes

Why am I so special,to,the forum?

I'm important to the forum as this place needs someone to hoover up all the bamboo that people remove from their gardens

Good luck with that decision Verdun, I know it's a toughy.

KEF, throwing out your clothes coz you don't want to iron is a bit extreme   Hope you find your smile soon and we get crisp autumn days soon

Banana cake sounds good

Hope your appt goes well BM - not sure I replied about conkers, if you could still send them that would be great  If they are in the bin, no worries

Did note loads of things to comment on but they have all fallen out of my head

Salt mines are beckoning, if that is possible

Hope no one is flooded

Yummy cake Dove, not so keen on your main though. You can have that all to yourself  we had Snake and Pigmey, mash and cauli for tea

My lift let me down  Had to come home on the bus  It did stop raining though for home time so that was ok.

Just had my tea, so could go a slice of lemon drizzle if there is any left

Still raining here  I am hoping that the nice man that gives me a lift will be available tonight for a lift home.  I prepped him this morning with a "I'm sure you'd love to stay 'till 5 rather than go home at 4.30" suggestion.  Fingers crossed he takes the hint

Sorry to hear you are poorly - apparently there is a bug going round - looks like it is well travelled though when you think about how far apart we are  Maybe it is a virus rather than a bug
