Hope you all have a good day and aren't too interrupted by possible rain today

Morning all

Quick check in from the salt mine  Went to bed at 10 and slept really heavily, so much so that I couldn't get up this morning  Have a nasty headache to boot.  Still, tablets have been taken so hopefully it won't take too long for it to be kicked into touch.

Yvie, hope the GD is better soon, doesn't sound like she will have a fun couple of days.

OL, good luck to you and Mr OL on your new venture

Right, best get back to it   Have a lovely day all

I bought 4 Alpines for a rockery section by my front door (read small pile of hardcore I don't seem to be able to get rid of) - Silene uniflora Druetts Varigated, Sempervivum arachnoideum, Crassula milfordiae sedifolia and Sedum coca cola. Bigger plants are Micanthus 'Stictus', Cyperus Involucrata (for which I will be creating a damp place!) Fuchia Silver Lining and Panicum Virgatum 'Praire Sky'.

Topbird, maybe you could persuade your friend to come too?

I'm a tentative, will look at train times and my diary when I feel more awake

Afternoon  Gosh I'm tired and gearing up for a snooze on the sofa shortly  Feet are sore, but it was worth it as we raised around £150  Dove, you were right, a more lovely morning for Sept you would have been lucky to find  Just glad it wasn't yesterday

Congratulations on your win OL. Great start to the weekend.

Glad you had a lovely day yesterday Lily

Too tired for more comments . . . . .

I got home just over an hour ago thanks to signaling issue near Ipswich and a no show bus

Had a lovely day with my fellow twigs

Here is a shot of some of our picnic:

The rest was in the back of Nut's car
