HELLO FORKERS!

Took me a bit of time there Lily, but then I remembered the fabric softener!!!

Dove, she really is a girl  to be proud of, a chip off the old block

Hi TC  Understand the excitement of your first garden, got mine 2 1/2 years ago and I love it  Already had a pear tree, which was unfortunate as I don't like them  and my OH won't eat food I've grown (ie not from the shop!)   I find my Ma and friends enjoy my conference pears though

God I feel an idiot!  They are indeed irises

And to think, last year I thought I was getting good at identifying plants

Thanks Nut  So, if I plant them out from the pot I should keep them level with the soil, but if they were just bulbs then they should be twice the depth?

Lovely photo Verdun, and those hellebore are beautiful (even though the pic was to show off Fritillarys)

I bought these from the local market stall and would like to plant them out in the garden for years of enjoyment.  Should I plant them fully into their new home or should they be planted with part of the bulb showing?  I am confused as you see these in grass sometimes.

Many thanks

I might have had some of it today Runny  Managed to strip the bed and get the sheets out on the line  They now smell wonderfully fresh and a bit of strawberry and Lily  Nothing like a clean fresh bed to get into ....... to sleep  I will admit there is nothing like a clear bed to ....... garden in too

Verdun, when I read your post about the juniper I thought you had put jumper and couldn't work out why you would want in it a conical shape!!

We've got the ice cream van doing the rounds already - does this mean it really is spring?????

I've seen them in our "wyvale" too David  Didn't look at the price but they are clearly for the person that wants a small holding without the effort of looking after real animals!!!!

Thanks for your job hunting support  Means a lot

Glad Pa is alright, if a little frail Dove

Nice pergola Winter (???)

Much prefer squiggles Yvie

Popped into town to sign on (depressing) and picked up two pots of small iris (purple ones) Only 50p each. Bulbs aren't completely submerged in the pots, should they be when I plant them on?
