Hi Kef, new babies planted, and some that should have been planted before now

Love the 'non hellebore' discovery  Has made me want a lime green one now! Will need to leave it till next year as I will need a new bed for all my hellebore desires   Have done a quick count and have 9 baby hellebores that aren't big enough to go in the ground yet - should be next year though. Memo to self, stop buying 'instant' plants and remember the ones you have

ooo Columbo. . . . haven't seen one of those for ages. Love how he bothers the culprit. Don't let that naughty Kef distract you Dove!

Well, I guess we are all out in our gardens today  Just back from town, somehow 7 plants from the market jumped into my bags  I am now the proud owner of 3 foxgloves (2 named, one surprise) 3 campanulas and something else (can't remember, sorry). Once I've finished my coffee I'll be out there with my spade and trowel planting

We are having some gardeners visit work (James Wong and Christine Walkden are 2 I can remember) for a seminar, and tickets are balloted. I have put my name down for one (no promises I'll win a spot) and we get to ask a question. mine relates to the flooding and gardening  Will let you all know if I am successful and what, if any, answer I get!

Cross your fingers for me

Morning all. Lily, I think I've caught your muzzy head  as I've woken up with one too. I'm not officially up yet, having a lie in as it's Saturday

Tasks for today would be to plant everything that was supposed to get planted last weekend! I also want to take a turn around the garden and see what's coming up. I think I spotted some hyacinths showing their noses last weekend

Bill, hope your wife has a good birthday. And I hope your snow clears soon. My cousin lives in Kingston and is suffering the same drifts as you. Just can't imagine that much snow!

Thanks Nut

Dove, just what are you knitting? I'm hoping it's not another jumper for your OH

Night Stacey

I'd forgotten how good Wallace and Gromit are! That was a fab evening. Can't believe some of them have never seen it before

Kef, sounds like OH is on a definite Geezer ban!  Just trying to think of what he could forth redeem himself. . . .  a spree at the GC on him?

Ooo. . . . just remembered, I bought a six pack of creme eggs  Anyone fancy one?

Evening bump from me

Posted: 28/02/2014 at 17:54

Evening peeps  Woo hoo! That's the working week over for me

Well, it has rained non stop here. Don't mind so much when I am in the office, just hope it clears up for the weekend! Tomorrow has a cloud, so there's hope

Fish and chips for tea tonight (always fishy Friday in our house) and then off to Guides. We're starting them off on the Film Lovers Badge tonight by watching Wallace and Gromit's The Wrong Trousers  Should make for a nice easy evening

Hope you all have nice easy evenings too! Catch you all later

Morning all. Dreary looking day here on all fronts  It has felt like a long week and I am glad it is Friday. Time to get socks on and shoes and get going.

Don't like the sound of your storm Verd so I hope you stay safe and that others do too
