Evening all

Busy day for me, last visit to the job centre (hurrah!) and then off to a funeral. My good friend's mum. Very sad day for her and her family.

Sounds like things are pulling together for you Wonky

Those are lovely pics Liri, I wish you well on your search for a lovely home for your mum

Can't believe the job starts on Monday! Is coming up very fast!  Now all I need is instructions on where I need to go and at what time

Have a lovely evening all

If we were invited to fidgets wedding on Saturday

Afternoon all

My last Monday lie in for a while  Have been up for some time, not just up btw

Contract has been signed and emailed back  OH's toe nails have been cut

Fidget, I wouldn't mind which choccies, mint are more "traditional" so you should go for the Thorntons - would fit in better.  Have some time for brass polishing if you need some help

Hosta, can't comment on the bird identification, but I hope it turns out as you want.

Getting my nails done this afternoon, am embarrassed though as my nails are shocking  Need something bright and cheerful (am off to a funeral tomorrow) and professional (for work). Hope there is enough room in the kitchen what with the oven on the floor!

Hope you all have a good day, weather has def turned here

Evening all

Have been away at a Brownie Sleepover  Sat - Sunday  Then round to Ma and Pa's for Sunday lunch and obligatory afternoon snooze  Tried very hard to resist but had to give in . . . . . they were very understanding

Too many comments, but I will say, Clari, no one deserves to be shouted at. Well done you for not shouting back.  As someone who does a fair bit of volunteering, I am aware that people think, well they are volunteers so I can't say anything, well how would they have felt if the shoe was on the other foot. There is not enough walking in other people's shoes done today, in my opinion! I think it would be worth having a conversation with your boss, explaining how you feel and laying down the repercussions of what would happen were you to leave and not come back? As for the cost of your sleepovers, you most def need to charge more!!!! You would be surprised what uniformed groups are prepared to pay! I think £45 is a snip as well, I would expect to pay much more than that (but then I do live in the South East!)  Sorry to have gone on. . . . .  All meant well

Evening gang, morning Pat

Been at bingo, no win

I don't change my duvet either, never occurred to me   I like my towels washed without softener, nice and rough for drying

Well done Jo on the reduction

Another thought for your used duvets Runny would be a homeless charity/shelter
