OL and others, I'm sure you'd be mortified to know that I am a last minute packer!  And all done without a list  Haven't forgotten anything important yet  Am getting better at not over packing too

Fidget, sorry to hear about your dad, hope the rallying continues tomorrow

Gg.. might be joining you with no hot water when it gets fixed! Hope yours gets fixed soon

Who are you talking to Lesley?

Well that's me home  to the not so good news that our shower has what can only be described as a hidden surprise . . . a leak  and it's a big hidden leak  that means some insurance claiming going on   It's never good when the plumber says that he can't give us a quote as he is not sure of the extent of the problem

Maybe I need Dove's friendly builder . . . if only I lived nearer to her I'd ask for his number

KEF, I hear you

Well, today I'm getting on a train and heading for the seaside . . . . I wish!  Well, the sea is salty, so I should be allowed to mine the salt from there  Esp as the sun's out  Verdun finally set it free so the rest of us could enjoy it

Have a great day all

Yvie, I've just bought a new one from Jacamo - would recommend them if you can work out which size you want in the XL's  My coat now has sleeves I can loose my hands in

BM, I'm a little too built for comfort for DPs   As you will find out on 7th Sept

If we are having our indian summer by then the jumper will not be making an appearance I'm afraid

BM  Did you see I'd replied on the Wisley thread re meeting up? (Haven't checked the thread - will do in a bit)

Liri, I'm glad your Gd has been diagnosed  must be a relief

I'm with you Liri, except I am tall and 'built for comfort'  I find most 'built for comfort' clothes are designed for shorter women - don't even get me started on getting coats/jackets to fit on the arms. Sometimes I have to buy blokes tops - hurrah for Jacamo

BM, KEF's off to read a thriller, although I do like a good one too
