Morning all

Clari, we would come on the train, I don't like long bus journeys

Evening all

Lily P, glad all went well for your daughter, must be a huge relief for you

I did win  £30 to spend on sticky plants  woo hoo! I was also invited to judge a shortbread competition on Sunday for Guides  I said I could just about manage it

Clari, if I lived near you I would love to take my Guides for a sleepover in your museum

Right, am off now.  OH is watching election TV  all night  Wonder how many times he will fall asleep . . . .

Catch you all later

Voting done

Morning all

Fidget, I'm taking OH to vote for the first time too  I've always voted  I also think your wedding plans sound lovely  OH is def romantically minded.

LilyP, glad they got on the plane. Sounds like there is a lot of work for your daughter at the other end  I'm sure she'll manage, she sounds like a determined woman

Weather is not bad here. Thanks Fairy for getting rid of the wind

KEF, we are sharing the same weather today  The garden needs the water but not the wind  Normally the only challenging wind I have comes out of OH

Good luck Runny  Don't mind poking my own fingers in my eyes but not sure about others

Hi Fairy   Looks like you've been having fun. Beautiful photos

These plants in GCs have all the tricks  First they used to leap into our trolleys/baskets and when we got wise to that they developed sticky labels

Can't prove anything

Hi Blue Dragon

It sounds like you are doing the right things in your garden.  It must be very difficult to see the completed borders and think that you are "letting the side down".  They will have already spent the time that you are now getting their borders into shape.  Or they will have paid someone to do it for them

I am sure that no one is looking at you in a bad way, and I know it is hard, but just ignore the comments that may not seem nice

Keep up the good work, you will get there in the end

Oh, and if you photograph your efforts we will reward you with ooo's and ahh's
