Does any one have any advice on hard pruning a rather overgrown Rhodedendron?
I have recently removed a LOT of ivy from a large laurel hedge and am now left with a very threadbare skeleton. Will the leaves of the laurel grow back in all the right places, or do I need to prune it to stimulate growth?
Last year I grew a big pumpkin which won the village show (it was the only entrant in its class) This year I wish to do the same. Should I use the seed of the former champion, or am I better buying in fresh seeds?
