water butt tap not working

Posted: Yesterday at 15:49

Naki,if you remove the tap make sure you get the retaining plastic collar nut from inside the but ,you need this to tighten the tap again when putting it back, also you may need 2 people to do this as the buts are usually to deep for one person to hold the tap outside the but and tighten the collar on the inside unless of course your 7 feet tall, also move the rain pipie from the but and tie a stocking round the end  to collect the pine needles, suspenders not needed,  good luck. snowing erein Norfolk

Would you pay more for a pint of Milk ?

Posted: 22/01/2015 at 12:39

The Dairy farmers need help, how simple can it, be find out what they need to work properly and put that on the milk and find very very heavily  any supermarkets that try to take ANY part of it. So Easy. I watched the program about supermarkets charging there suppliers  what an eye opener that was.

Squirrel proof magnolia?

Posted: 22/01/2015 at 12:29

In reality Diana7 you cant protect trees from squirrels,we inherited 7 magnolias some time ago, I understand your problem but as you  said youv drawn the line, someone to catch and move them a LONG way away is not too difficult , the other way is someone who knows how to use an air gun safely and legally, I would try the first one  first .

What would you do with this huge garden?

High Moors, Not knowing a thing about these lovely trees and not having but would like an Acer I read all the advice and followed up as we intend to get a small one,as usual all the advise is spoton and I found this that you might be interested in,Royal H/S,,https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?pid=126, have now to decide which SMALL one to get.
