Downpipe stop end

Hi Anneon,a friend had a similar prob in Nottingham we could not find a replacement so we cut the end of a plastic bottle that was a similar size put it over the end used a bit of plumbers mate paste and then wrapped duct tape its still there as far as i know , if you dont have any plumbers mate just the silver duct tape will do it unless you need a better looking finish, this was on an allotment so it was ok but worked the tape would also hold the old part in place that you already have, builders or plummers merchants, will have it or sometimes the pound shop

good luck Alan

Hi all we also were plagued by the S&S last year, so this year i attacked with pellets on St  Valentines day ,But it looks like the expected massacre didn't happen as no dead enemies anywhere, so was it too wet, too cold or what ? are they still liurking there  just waiting for warmer weather and can i still catch them before they mate, as here in Tenby we have had a full week of no rain,, Honest a full week anybody know when the S&S invasion might start, as  with our planting plans next month i need to do as much damage as poss ASAP  ( Sell- a- gare) ( obviosly i dont speak French but i know it was old Napoleon who said it) i need help not with French with the slug invasion Good luck all Alan4711

Hi nightgarden,we also use the same or will be this year can you explain the diluting rates you have becouse it depends on what size container your useing to make it, so i can work out the dilute rate for us as we make 40 gallons at a time for our allotment and home plants many thanks
