Dave,s right  But Dont skimp on the membrane believe me get a good one, years ago i did a blue slate area with a recommended normal membrane,  some time later we had tulips and daffs coming through i do admit it looked like we had planned it but after that we use a quality membrane every time, its worth the extra Good luck Smiiithy

that really does sound like the beginning of a row,and i would go straight to a good solicitor who deals with this kind of problem, I would not get involved with unqualified well meaning people, and I do  believe the first chat with the brief is free, i find some people so strange why don't people just talk to each other  before diving in,anyway good luck Keith LW.

Advice needed

Daisy, when we took del of bare rooted stuff, the Grower took time to explain to make a little mound in the bottom of the hole and spread the roots equally over it, they explained they had no proof that adding food to the actual hole made any difference as the home made or G/C compost already has enough goodness in it but people liked to do it and so did we ,peace of mind youv done everything you can kind of thing ,however later feeding was important, FBB and slow release fertilizer was always mentioned as it goes a long way and isnt too expensive, i think later today you will get far better advise than mine as we have a lot of Rose people on here ,good luck.
