Talkback: How to make a nettle feed

Posted: 13/06/2014 at 21:06

Cathkev not sure if you mean making it or storing it ,on the allotment i made it in a 40 gallon drum almost full of water ,the comfry and nettles  were kept in a pillow protector put into the drum and weighted down with a brick then  when it was ready 4/5 weeks i could just pull it out and empty it ,wash it and use again, , then bottled it leaving a space in the bottles to expand.easy

Talkback: How to make a nettle feed

Hi Dodgee, iv bottled it up and used it 12 /18 months later ,but i make it the dry way and get the juice without water in it so its much more powerful and needs diluting much more and its easier to save, and dont smell so much in the making.and dont need so much shelf space. good luck
