Honeysuckle

Hi Phas yesterday i was looking online for advice on honeysuckle ,,go to RHS Honeysuckle there is loads of good advice there for looking after them i put one 12 inches high 80% shade last year against a north facing wall on a fan and gave it Nettle juice then comfrey its now over the 8 foot high wall and fanned out 10 foot and was full of first year flowers, give it a go outside now,good well drained mulched soil and watch it grow.

Morning all, i have a rescued peace lily from the car boot,was 5 inches tall and drowned.,now 20 inches high and 1 foot wide and has decided to give us 2 wonderful flowers,Now do i deadhead or no,do i cut the used stem low or no, can i get seeds from the inside of the flower that looks like a tongue,also i have another young one 8 inches tall with about 10 small flowers again do i dead head etc, i will look on RHS but i do like advice from people who have actually done it and been there, Right many thanks and av a nice day,its chucking it down here in Tenby for a change ha,ha. site wont let me do pics sorry.

Hi Andy Some onion and shallot cultivars are suitable for autumn planting:

These types are less sensitive to cold exposure that induces bolting (flowering)
Aim to plant onions in September and shallots in October
Use the same spacing for spring-planted sets or module grown plants
Autumn planting is not suitable for heavy soils prone to waterlogging as the crop is more likely to succumb to disease RHS

it is now over 7 months since i started to spray Jeyes fluid either ready to use or tin, only one deposit in the time due to Kate planting and forgetting to spray around the turned soil, worked for us

Was last night just me or what ,im sorry but i hate to say it but Monty bored me to tears last night,picking flowers i ask you no more please, and it said in the tv mag their would be info on fruit trees, why do i need to see somebody picking wild blackberries Please show me how to plant ,grow and look after them ill do the picking and eating,this is not supposed to be a nature prog its getting silly ,get back to basic gardening bits for beginners bits for the more knowing watchers Please !!! Right wots on telly a bottle o Bombardier and the last Vera i think ava nice nite folks
