Eupatorium purpureum 'subsp. maculatum Atropurpureum' Purple Joe Pye weed

Overall: Fantastic for butterflies , it says the plant is coarse but I have found that if it at the back of a border you do not see it's coarse feet all you see are the pinky purple flower heads covered in butterflies and bees !

Eremurus x isabellinus 'Romance' Foxtail lily

Overall: Have grown these for a number of years now and they get better and better every year. From 3 tubers brought mail order 5 years ago they have formed nice clumps with the flowers standing out above other plants. I have found that they need a good baking by the sun with little shade on the leaves , something that is hard to achieve in a garden but well worth it !
