Thanks KEF my health's better just now was looking last night to book 3 days at the Keukenhof bulb show in Holland for the first week of April. All being well i will book it in 2 to 3 weeks time as a treat for my wife and me.

Morning all just back in from walking down to the butchers for some beef olives for the dinner tonight and it's a very cold & biting wind that's me in for the day now it's housework only.

Thanks Fairy Girl yes keeping better just waiting on word to go for a brain scan have good day and some not so good but just get on with it. Not allowed to drive yet till i get the scan and everything is fine. Wife took me to the G/C yesterday and i turned not well wife said she seen it coming on turned pure white and lost my balance she said i looked drunk the way i was walking and still got a shake in my left hand. Hopefully time will sort things out all being well but not going to let it hold me back going to London for three days in a fortnights time and booked two weeks in St Ives for June/July time. Hope you and the girls are all well and healthy roll on spring time for all us who love there garden take care.

Morning all some weather just looked out my back window and seen two dolphins go by lol some water about out there. Going out now to start of my Begonia tubers in trays for the spring my sweet peas are now through but no doubt still got real hard winter weather to come yet hope am wrong.

Glad to say it never came to anything sunny now but cold wind thank goodness for that.

Snow here in Lanarkshire Scotland the now but don't think it will come to anything well hope not.

I put two posts into the ground then a length of 3x2 treated timber from post to post then fixed a length of deep plastic guttering to the wood put soil and strawberry plants in it. Then fixed a length of netting on the other side of the wood to pull it over when strawberry are needing protected from the birds works great hope this helps you.

Thanks for all your kind words not done much in the garden or greenhouse over the last 3 month because of my health. Son & daughter gave my wife and me 2 nights and tickets for 2 shows in London for the 5th to the 7th of Feb the shows are The Bodyguard and Les Miserables so looking forward greatly to the short break.
