Morning all what a lovely morning just in from watering the garden now at tea & toast it's our gardening club all day outing today bus leaves at 9.00 visiting 3 gardens in Ayrshire really looking forward to it great day for it. Two of the gardens sell plants the other one is a village growers club with a big plot set up to help the local villages and schools have a good day all.

What is this bee attracting plant?

I've got Blue Kiwi flowers in my garden and bees are never away from them even the wife has commented on them on the flowers.

Verdun i've got a full tray of mixed Agastaches in the greenhouse going outside on Sunday hopefully they do well for me in the garden.

I done my strawberries one lot in a large planter and the other's in a hanging basket in the greenhouse the hanging basket ones are bigger and ready quicker but both taste sweet and juicy i like them with ice cream.

FG your toms are well ahead of mine you enjoy what kind are they i have moneymaker and gardner's delight 65 plants so should have plenty to give away or sell cant wait to see what happens first time growing them. Been eating strawberries for a couple of weeks now and had first potatoe's on weds night with butter spring onion corn beef and cabbage they where lovely.

Don't post on this thread much more the morning one but always read it big hugs to you all keep your chins up and gardens pretty at all times. Am sure family,friends ,dogs and hobbies help everyone along the way and as my father always said to me look forward never back in life. As FG said this is like a family on here it gives everyone good support in times of need long may it continue. I only took up gardening last year so can't really answer many question's on the forum but what i have learned from others is great and has made making my garden looking great that little easier and loving every minute and is helping me get through my illness easier no doubt have a good day all and take care.

Fairygirl the tree is Salix integra (Hakuro Nishiki) bought it from one of the small local nursery which was bigger than the same tree Homebase and GC offered.

Oh forgot many happy returns to your daughter today Fairygirl hope she has a great day only thing is the older they get the older we are getting with them . Only as old as you feel and your only 27 hope this rain goes off to let me go into the garden soon.
