Fairygirl yes the garden is my mind therapy sowed a lot of seeds early on and watching them grow is like watching life moving forward and am helping then along the way i find it most satisfying.Dove no it's not nice but you have to stay positive am 52 but when you see kids and young people getting the treatment i think poor souls at least my kids are growing up they are boy 32 girl 29 so it could be worse i tell my friends.

Morning all thank you all for wishing me well yesterday for my hospital app consultant says i need at least another 10 treatments of chemo and gave me anti sickness tablets to take before and after treatment as i have been sick the last 2 times. Cold this morning but like yesterday going to be a great day am off to work now got a football tournament with the boys from school this afternoon got a decent wee team so should do well. Busy-Lizzie yes 94 Verbascum but i give alot away to staff at my school and kids garden plus give some to the garden club i go to for selling for funds to help with our outings.Tonight it's re-potting some tomato plants and singling out 2 tray of asters have a good day in your gardens.

Morning all cold but looks like it's going to be a nice day going by the look of the sky just done my early morning check everything fine. Now tea & toast then work till 1.30 got hospital appointment at 2.30 should be home for 4.30 then get into the garden for a couple of hours have a good day everyone.

Fairygirl what a great garden you had in your last house going by the photo's must have been hard leaving it all behind. Am sure when your finished your new garden it will be just as nice as my father always said to me never look back always look forward that's what i do now good luck.

Hi Fairygirl just in for lunch so water plants in greenhouse while in back at work 2.45 till 9pm tonight there's a parent council meeting on. I cant sleep much at night as on steroids and getting chemo treatment also think there giving me more energy than i ever had lol. Wife says am never sitting down which is true i don't watch much TV always been used to doing something it was the dogs that kept me going up till last year now it's the garden.Weather very windy here just now also getting some heavy rain showers never mind it's going to get really warm from the weekend on so they say.

Morning all well that's the weekend away again and back to work never stopped at the weekend got loads done outside on Sat and inside on Sun. Got a great deal for the sports kits for the kids on Sat then went to the GC and bought some compost and also an Astilbe heart & soul plant reduced to £5 from £19.99 so happy with that.Sunday i singled out 80 onions 40 leeks and 94 Verbascum plus started my hanging baskets. Oh forgot and taxi my daughter to and from the train station on Sat she and her friends going to night out in Edinburgh for my daughters birthday that's what dads are for now back to work for a rest.

Morning all it's overcast now been raining done the outside work yesterday left the greenhouse stuff for today. So thats where my duties will be today got a tray of verbascum & verbena bonariensis to single out plus my 4 hanging baskets to do for starters. Swiss Sue if it was only that easy  GG enjoy your church wifes goes every week enjoys singing her heart out as she used to do a bit of singing when she was younger now my daughter does all the singing at the clubs and events.

I've broken the main stem of my fuchsia standard help!
