Percy I do agree what you say but at this time when things are so tight money does come into it. Example Morrison's on Sat night i got 6 strong fuchsia plugs for £2 at our local Doobbies GC they where a £1 each plug and not any better looking may i say. Also at Morrison's a Salix Caprea Kilmarnock £8 at Dobbies £20 same label on it am a member of Dobbies garden club and buy most of my stuff there but i still watch my pennies and love a bargain.

Lyn i got 6 Paula Jane fuchsia plugs for £2 at Morrison's on Sat night and they are very strong plugs potted them up on Sunday morning i just love a bargain.

Verdun my Fireworks are in the cold frame at this time waiting to put it out do you think i should move it into the heated greenhouse or just leave it where it is.

Just watched Countryfile weather for the week same as this week more snow next weekend also need to put extension on to my greenhouse it's bursting at the sides the now and more seeds to single out and also to plant. One of the ladies i work with is giving me her greenhouse she no longer wants 6x6 glass it's only 2 years old wants nothing for it but said i would give her something cant get it for another 3 weeks oh i could do with it now.

Verdun there's no lawn a 5ft hedge to the right so partly shaded size width 12ft length 10ft just all been turned over soil good and light. I have lots of flowers to plant but need something more mature for the center then plant roundabout it got a Pennisetum Fireworks but was thinking of keeping that for the back garden.

Went to the GC this afternoon and noticed they had Salix Caprea Kilmarnock at £20 the same plant and slightly bigger at Morrisons last night £8 going back to get one if not all away.
