Tray14 its not rubbish it is tea bags I read some were that tea was good for the soil and for hostas they will be picked up very soon as we have good sunny weather now

hi all today I found a nest of red ants at the base of my peony the plant seems to be stunted compared to the other ones in the garden.my ? is are the red ants killing my peony  and what can I do to save it as it was so lovley last year.

yes the fire and ice is doing well considering it was in a pot chucked on the rubbish to tidy up.my titanic hosta has not yet come thru . the first pic is my blue Hawaiian cant wait for it to get large.

glad your hostas are springing up as well please don't forget to post same pics

charleyD did you go throw it and was it cut in two I wonder if it did could you get a free plant from your mistake  he he he

hi Lisa I would leave alone this year and move the irises then please remember that they need a good sunny spot and not to bury the corns just put the roots in the ground and the rest on the service as they need to be baked in the sun to get flowers nexted year.

hi all a few weeks ago I had a mishap with my clematis, I caught it with my hoe and cut it to ground level . have I killed it off or is it to cold and early to see any new growth.
