Hi all back now after having my cataract surgery done.

my hostas have suffered badly as I could not go out to do slug runs or watering all though the rain did help. here is some pics not in any order.

my Blue Haweii has a flower bud on it and I don't know if I should remove it this year as I only got it a few months ago if you all remember.

hi all got one from wilco for a pound when I opened the box it had three large roots in it.followed instuctions so I will see if they grow,

Holes on Rhododendron leaves

I live in the uk in the midlands and I to have this problem and after looking around we came to the conclusion it was leaf cutting bee. next year I will cover mine with a fleece to stop them getting to it until they have moved on .hope this helps

glad your plot is now ready.as for slugs and snails I use wildlife friendly pellets as I have a dog that sometimes gets over my fence.as  you saw my blue hawii did get bit gust as it popped up . what hostas did you order mate

P.S don't forget to soke them for a hour and put some more compost in the holes when planting them
