busy day here too . weeded three borders and mulched . with leaf mould . put down  stone chipings in the lower garden seating area , i got  from the daughters garden . when we put the pallet decking down . forked the raised  veg beds  late brunch and curry for supper 

OL  great sinks bargin . i have the old belfast from  mum  and dads house . that i used to have a bath in 

KEF  sorry about the blades . does  OH  remember billy deardon ????

night all . got a nice backache now

sunny rain wind then hale .. and repeat. Weeks behind here in the  garden here  with all our family STUFF. ....

but have sown plenty . better times ahead we hope .

ps beware of slugs in your cold frames . lost a sweetpea leaf lastnight .

well what a morning the  drain men came  at 8am  to put  a new pipe in . thats  fractured . underground . at about 10 30  . a knock at the door the foreman told me work had to stop and the police called . some bones have been found .our house sits on old farm land . built in the 40s . someones coming from the musem as well  . the workmen have found  a rusty cross  as well ; opps  knock at the door again . back.  just thinking we are above the river irk . and there was a monesrty of st irk hundreds of years ago..

can this work as ingredients for compost?

could you ask a neighbour for there garden waste grass cuttings etc and mix in
