great day here. cold and sunny . grandkids on the way from wales , for the weekend walked past  two houses with christmass trees up . did the victor meldew bit in the street

i put it in the compost . my dad and his . used to put it in the  with the seed potatoes come easter . good for the skins  lad

hard frost north manchester . sunny leafs droping at a great rate now .bit of decorating  will secure. with  OH . the weekend in the garden . grankids coming we can plant bulbs and rake leafs.. up  work now football later and a beer

 what i do is keep some back from the main crop . and but in layers in deep pots cover with compost . and put somewhere with a bit of shelter . and check christmas week . any problems  i get  a few packets from sainsburys  and bury  again  and dig up christmass day  the family never twig
