North-east facing climbers

Hi, I have this problem too, I stretched green pea netting over the trellis (almost invisible) and planted Clematis, the netting stops the flowers from growing through and facing my neighbours sunnier side. Taylors Clematis have a huge range and you can search by height, aspect, flowering period and colour, some are evergreen

When I was a child we had a tree with the most beautiful dark, almost burgundy blossom, like sprays of tiny roses, I think that was a crab apple, does anyone know the name of it?

Hi Edd, very interested I currently use an old barrel for compost but it's not very effective as I can't turn it or anything, do you know any ways I could improve it, I have a tiny cottage style garden and don't really want a huge plastic composter.

Also, can anyone explain to me why pansies are labelled as hardy perennials but never come back?
