Luzula sylvatica Woodrush

Posted: 12 May 2012
Overall: Nice sturdy plant, that will spread out as great ground cover. The little flowers are infact cream and quite attractive. Easy to propagate from rooted sections. Having moved mine, I now have a new sport that is cream with a green stripe.

Persicaria 'Red Dragon' Knotweed

Posted: 12 May 2012
Overall: Colour is better if planted in partial shade. Flowers are tiny but enhance the overall appearance. Will create a nice clump which will lean out from the crown.

Meconopsis betonicifolia Himalayan blue poppy

Posted: 06 May 2012
Overall: Once established they hate to be moved.

Meconopsis betonicifolia Himalayan blue poppy

Posted: 21 April 2012
Overall: If you grow this from seed or buy a plant, never let it flower in the first year. It takes a couple of yers for the plant toi establish. Easy to propagate from seeds collected. Sow immediately and leave to own devices in shady spot over winter, but cover with glass at angle over pot to protect from heavy rain.
