Morning glory

They look much better than mine Loganberry. Mine are about 6 to 8 inches high, have had loads of flowers but haven't grown any taller for weeks.

Problems with Freesia bulbs not growing

Posted: 06/06/2014 at 07:51

Hi I planted about 50 Freesia bulbs about 4 weeks ago. The have been coming up very sporadically. Had to move one lot as the pot was water logged. I had put 6 bulbs in this pot and only 2 had popped up, but when I dug these two out, there were two more just shooting and two sitting just the same as when I planted them, not soft or rotten. I replanted the lot in a new pot, and will see what happens. They are all outside btw.

Growing Roses

Beautiful roses, what a brilliant thread. Roses are definitely my favourite flowers, only have one at the moment bought From Chateux Villandry on a visit ti france about 3 years ago. The poor thing has been moved from pillar to post inits original pot until a few weeks ago. I took pity on it and planted it up into a huge pot (bed for it still not ready). It now has lots of buds and two open flowers, and smells heavenly. Only problem is the flowers seem to be too heavy for the branch, why is this do I need to feed it more? I did put some FBB in when I repotted it, and it has had loads of water.

According to Gardeners World, Aquilegeas are meant to be slug proof. I have only one at the moment salvaged from the last garden. it hasn't been touched.
