Talkback: Planting snowdrops 'in the green'

Posted: 19/02/2015 at 19:19
I had a small clump of Snowdrops, but over the last two years I have been lifting them in the green and it haas proved very successful. I now have three nice clumps and will be dividing them again this year .

I have had an Acer in a pot for about eight years and it has grown quite happily, this year the main branch has not produced any leaves but other branches have, does any one know the reason /cure for this, the plant was a gift from my son at his wedding so has some sentimental value as well.

Thanks everyone , the ones I have were grown this year from seed found on a plant that had been dumped near a footpath behind someones property, their loss my gain I think they are great and look forward to growing some more next year.
