Acer tree issue

Posted: 10/07/2013 at 06:15

Hi, I seem to have developed a white mould like growth on the base of two of my Acer trees, they both grow in pots and are well established. Does anyone know if this is harmful? I would hate to lose them. Thanks

The cat scarer is about 6-8" off the ground but I think they have to walk past it for it to go off, they are not pooing in the garden they are just sitting in it or in my gazebo and I think their presence is putting off the birds. I don't really like the smell of curry myself so I will give that one a miss but thanks anyway.

Hi, does anyone know if there are effective anti cat plants? I am trying to stop cats from coming into my garden and going for the birds, they are not using it as a toilet but they sit in the garden and scare off the birds. I have a sonic scarer but it doesn't seem to be scaring them off!!

Hi, last year the leaf cutter bees used my bug box to place their eggs but still the holes are sealed up!! I was thinking that maybe the larva didn't survive, does anyone have an opinion on this at all?

It's on top of the ground chica, I suppose I could pack some polythene underneath the sink and then just wait and see.
