Oh how I agree with you pansy-face. Live subtitles can produce some real howlers!   As you say, if proof read first there should be no problem.

Let's hope someone passes the message on, madpenguin.  Wouldn't it be lovely to be able to watch those videos without having to guesstimate what's happening? !

Would anyone else value a subtitling option on the gardening "How to" videos on this website?

I'd love to find out more about the pot for bees this month, for example.  I've been told it isn't planned but given 1 in 6 people have hearing problems, with an even higher percentage in those of us over 60 yrs, I'm sure there must be other gardeners out there who'd really welcome the chance to follow the videos. Asking for transcripts just isn't the same as browsing.

Many thanks, Verdun.  I'll try the seaweed spray.

I'm still definitely learning...

Peach leaf curl

I've just about given up on a similar, potted tree which has always had a good covering of flowers but then succumbs to the dreaded curl.

I'm very, very reluctant to spray with anything - if it affects the leaves, surely it could affect the fruit?   Feeding sounds more positive so I may just give it a last chance.

If it doesn't sound a silly question - what would you feed it with, Verdun?

The long, strappy leaves are quite strong & useful for temporary tying in of climbers.
I have also used them for wrapping ad hoc Christmas wreaths and the like.
I suspect I'm not the only one who just pulls the leaves firmly out without bothering about a spade!

Naive query - sorry. But what happens to the leaves you don't pull in that first year? Do you just leave them to die down or do you have to remove them later or...?
