Mesembryanthemum- another I'm trying to grow from seed for the first time this year.

Magnolia I love them but have never had one.

Busy-Lizzie I didn't realise you were spending any time in Newhaven. Thought you would just drive through like most people do lol. Paradise park is my local GC.

Tina I'm in Newhaven. On the coast between Brighton and Eastbourne. We have had bright sunshine all day. Funny how the weather is.Never mind wearing flipflops if you've got beautiful nails.

EveningVerdun. Over in the south east we didn't get that terrible weather- I'm still waiting for it.

Didn't get much done- just planted a carnation I got at one of the nurseries this weekend.

Welcome Rosie. Hope you will enjoy the forum as much as we do. You'll find lots of information and advice on gardening. There is usually someone who knows. Then there are chatty threads like this one. Always ask anything everyone one here is really great
