Bearded Iris

 I think my problem was that the rhizones were not nearly exposed enough. I will both split and expose later in the year.

Bearded Iris

I have had a number of bearded iris in my garden for around 4 years.All flowered in their second year  but none flowered last nor have any flowered this year.

I keep the plot they are in well nourished - chicken pellets & manure early in the year followed by Fish,Blood & Bone in the spring.

Any suggestions as to a solution would be most welcome as the year they did flower they were magnificent to look at.
