Talkback: Wet weather on the veg plot

Thank god for the newly built rasied bed i did this year it's 2 foot off the ground with excellent drainage with gaps should it need to drain away.

Lettuce, peas,carrots,onions,strawberries,are doing well some more sun would be an advantage.

The potatoes in bags have shot up with this rain is it just magic?

Re-glazing greenhouse

Nick Grey off e bay does the panels they come in different thickness 4mm is the cheap thin one i have 6mm on the roof which is much stronger a better product.

They will cut to size for you but the longest i could get were 2ft wide by 4ft high which is fine for one panel at a time on mine.

Veg in a shady garden

I had good luck last year with lettuce & sprouts plus potatoes & lots of strawberries
