Hi all, I am in Nairn, Scotland, lovely town.
Hi have plants that like good drainage was going to use john innes no 3, and grit should i add sharp sand as well and if so what mixture. thanks
thanks, they are the ones that spread, would I need a slab at the bottom as well
I bought 6 bamboo plants and was excited about putting them in until I read the horror stories about them popping up anywhere and everywhere, I have now decided to put them in 18in x 18in strong plastic tubs to sit on the soil a concrete slab under them and the tub hidden by other plants. do you think this would be ok, can anybody see any problems doing this? many thanks.
uncovered them this morning can see most of them no sign at all of some, don't no where they have gone.
Should I take some soil away from top?
no, I take it I should have, new to veg growing any tips welcome thanks
