picked up three japanese wine berry plants last year from local garden centre have no idea what they 

taste like will wait and see

i sowed my first earlies last week which is a bit early usually plant out april 1st

seed spuds were weel chitted so well earthed up covered ground over prior

to planting for a couple of weeks

was able to pick up geranium plugs and aster from aldi yesterday

had good success last year lost one or two but not bad

bought aster & geranium plug plants year performed very well of to aldi

agian at £1.99 a bargain compared to prices in garden centres

any time now till middle of next month sowing shenshyu again this year as had good

results this year remember to cover with netting to keep birds of happy planting

I will/I won't grow that again

carrots and pumpkins beans and sweetcorn great this year won't bother with 

main crop potatoes lot of slug damage you win some planning for next year

oh yes have 4 long beds which works well on a crop rotation been a good year 

so far plenty of beans ,spuds,onions,salad crops,picking sweetcorn now

carrots parsnips leeks brussels cabbages broc pumpkins to come

hi reg had the same problem this year seconds and main crop badly affected

muck dung in over winter which i feel did not help as ground was very wet on digging

up spuds 1st early not affected so will growing these only bit worried a bout ground

left with slug and rotten tubers so will be have carefull next year spoke to supplier

cause most likely weather related

could also depend how many tubers were planted per grow bag to many tubers planted can effect size of crops
