any time now till middle of next month sowing shenshyu again this year as had good

results this year remember to cover with netting to keep birds of happy planting

I will/I won't grow that again

carrots and pumpkins beans and sweetcorn great this year won't bother with 

main crop potatoes lot of slug damage you win some planning for next year

oh yes have 4 long beds which works well on a crop rotation been a good year 

so far plenty of beans ,spuds,onions,salad crops,picking sweetcorn now

carrots parsnips leeks brussels cabbages broc pumpkins to come

hi reg had the same problem this year seconds and main crop badly affected

muck dung in over winter which i feel did not help as ground was very wet on digging

up spuds 1st early not affected so will growing these only bit worried a bout ground

left with slug and rotten tubers so will be have carefull next year spoke to supplier

cause most likely weather related

could also depend how many tubers were planted per grow bag to many tubers planted can effect size of crops

hi 77 agree with comments just trial  and error grown rocket they had no taste att all best 1st early so far lady christie not cheap  also in maris piper amd sarpo

hi every one looking for some advice I have a potted olive tree outside witch is covered on a white powder sap witch is sticky any ideas

hi looking for some advice planted two potted apple trees last autumn useing the the same method but have noticed that one has buds the other one the main stem and all the branches have gone dark brown with  no buds showing also white spot on tree

what has caused this any thoughts

Chitting usually takes up to six weeks start mine of mid feb to plant out early
April depending on soil conditions.
