I have hostas in leaf that are in pots, all potted hostas are showing if not in leaf, hostas in the garden are showing.

Have some Veronica's as I call them in 2ltr pot waiting to be planted in perennial border .... Not grown before so looking forward to planting.

Question - how do you gardeners support your tall growing perennials .. .? Ty

Personally I like some variegation in my garden especially my hosta collection. ... which seems to grow each year although I do divide then give away, I also have a few variegated fuchsias ...... So yes I like variegation.

Good Morning ALL Forkers ............ Firstly hope you get better soon Bev, Dove hope your arm is okay this morning ? ........ Well peeps the wind as been howling here ALL night long, I like to do a bit of reading in the evening, but all I could hear last night was the wind !! ......... If your out and about today be careful, we are all aware how destructive the wind can be ....
Verdun I'm sure I have Veronicastrums in a 2 ltr pot on my outside bench needs planting but so do another 8 or so other perennials I've got .... Verdun have you ever grown Geums ? Anyway people have a pleasant day.. If you can that is ? Hope this wind drops a bit !!

Fastidious ? Just hype about acers, because alot of these look such dainty and fragile this is not actually the case, I don't think there is a more graceful and delicate looking plant in my garden, which other than making sure the compost is suited I don't give any other special treatment, it's all in the compost mix .
