My snowdrops are doing the same. Makes you feel full of hope  but they've been doing it since about a week ago.

Love my Rangemaster, needed an electrician too. Why is it going in the annex and not in the kitchen?

My bug did the that, LG, must be the same. But you've got children so difficult not to function.

Been doing some HW so Housesitter doesn't think I'm too lazy. Off tomorrow.

Horse chestnut trees

Thank you Tetley, but I realise what you mean. It's such a shame, such beautiful trees and the leaf miner really spoils the look of them. There is a lot of it here.

For Obelixx  https://www.jardinexpress.fr/  I've been pleased with them, plants are well packed. I usually get the smallest plugs in trays of about 35. Often 2 little plants in each plug so if you are careful you can get about 60 from a tray.

ideas for storing seeds

I store mine in a drawer in the utility room. But I've just seen an idea on the French Internet, someone stored them in a photo album that has clear pockets in it so you can see all the packets when you turn the pages.

Good luck, Dove.

I haven't had any see catalogues yet, the French send them later than the English, but I've had an email from the plug plant people to tell me their catalogue is in hand.

You are a brave woman Hazel! You haven't been moaning about your cold, unlike me!

Oh dear Dove, sorry to here you've got the lurgy. I thought you'd escaped as your OH has had it for a bit. I'm still bunged up, it's a hard one to shake off. Keep warm, rest and drink enough, that' what everyone said to me! My OH still hasn't caught it.

I seem to have lost 3 pounds since Christmas, must be my cold.

Not quite so cold this morning -2, no frost.

Glad Joyce managed to get her OH to his fasting blood test successfully. Must be hard.
