Yes Lantana, my overgrown puddle was my pond. Actually I'm a bit nervous of creepy crawly things that might live in ponds.

Being the owner of a tummy that I wish was flatter, I find small lacy underwear sits nicely underneath it.

Morning all.

What a lovely idea PP, to write to them.

Shopping for the Strawberry Tea this morning.

DD has lost quite a bit of weight since I first met her, unlike me! She isn't 27 yet though.

There is always that, PP. Outside and in. Don't think I've filed any bills for 2 years, pile just gets bigger.

I find ironing in front of the telly is quite peaceful.

No, PP, I don't iron my underwear either, small and lacey, probably melt it.

I like all vegetables too.

"discumnockerated" now there's a lovely word I haven't heard since first OH died, one of his favourites.

Had a good day today. Did lots of gardening until 3pm then we went out to tea with a new friend (actually met years ago but lost touch) and saw her lovely garden with lots of shrub roses.

Such a warm evening that we ate in the garden, listening to the birds preparing for bed. Pasta with broad beans and mange tout peas from the garden in it with smoked salmon.

I must have been sent to Coventry after my last post so I can go the whole hog and admit that I do ironing every week, sheets and all, though I draw the line at underwear - especially OH's.

Gosh, that is the smallest, most under control, Rambling Rector I have ever seen!
