pumkin and apricot jam

Posted: 22/10/2014 at 11:32

I wonder if anyone has a recipe for apricot and pumpkin jam please ?

I used to make it a long time ago  and I've lost a particular recipe for it.

The recipe involved cutting the pumpkin up in small squares and leaving it overnight with soaking in the sugar .

The only recipes on the net are ones where you cook the pumpkin first.

I am doubtful if anyone will have the one I used.but thank you in advance , just in case .

Hi Get to 324

You will see I have done your survey on the strength of using it for hazel nuts and walnuts. Disregard it if it's no use to you. Gran

Could you not add some grit / sand to the base for increase  drainage?

Maybe if you could fork it gently around the root ball  it would help stop it getting soggy through the wet weather??

Would this work 'verdun ?

What do you think ?

Monty don new series

Put me down for Monty anytime, it's good there is another gardening program to watch and the beauty of iplayer . If I didn't have already have a kindle  hd   I'd be buying one , just for the iPlayer alone..

Enjoyed this change and like tonight's gardens it shows that it's all real work   through the different stages ,and not a case of " this is one I made before"

I thank  Each and everyone of you for adding to this thread, I admit I started off very adamant that my friend had done nothing wrong but even though I did kick off at stevie (sorry I've shortened your name ) after seeing it from different sides I am not so sure now.and Stevie I tried to pm you but couldn't so I hope you see this or some of your friends on here will tell you.I am very sorry I realised where you were coming from later .

But a few untruths have been added , to what actually happened. I do now believe even with my own dogs that a dog who has bitten should be put to sleep .I am now going to wait and see what the courts decide.

I will let everyone know by a different thread. Thank you everyone .

Hi bekkie and Pauline thanks, yes we do use tubs for this and find them very useful ,when we first got lucky he couldn't bend his front leg as the traveller s who he was rescued from had run over his front paw , didn't take him to have it set properly so it caused him some problems at first .

What I am doing is regularly keep holding his dish out to him for a drink ,he is drinking a lot of milk ,just got stocked up with it  .picked up some minced beef for next few weeks , 're stocked  on eggs.lucky is partial to a scrambled egg.

Not bad is it .........OH is getting used to chappie too  and me  well i have toast and a cream bun !

It was puncture bites , friends son offered to take her to a&e but she refused his offer and went on her merry way through the front entrance to the property.it has now been said that the dogs left the "scene" in a  play full mood , tails wagging normal play antics etc ............so  I do wonder now had she been on there land previously ,and come in to contact with the dogs , and they thought she was playing,.?

This time was she running away as she saw my friend with her dogs and she knew she was trespassing , being connected in someway to the police knew she could be in trouble.?

I am now beginning to think there is more to this than meets the eye

Welsh onion you have picked up on a few things, it should be the same if it reaches the courts so we shall see.
