Hi Can anyone give me some advice on hibiscus chiffon plants I have ordered 3 from sutton seeds which will be supplied each in a 1 litre pot they do say they are suitable in be planted in containers which I would prefer to do as I have no room left in my boarders. So my question is what size pots would be suitable for these plants and would I need to repot them in a year or two or would they stay in the same pot

Thank you Sue

I'll think I'll do it tomorrow when weather is better.

I put the bare root roses in yesterday and got in a right old mess with the mud

Thank you Invicta2

I,ll dig as wide and as deep as I can I assume the ground will be quite hard in November but its quite damp and shady where it is a the moment.

Should I mix any feed in the new planting hole or hold off until growing season assuming I've haven't of damaged or killed it by then ?

Hi

can anyone please advise me when is the best time to move my Magnolia shrub I had it east facing in semi shade for 2 years and its never flowered.

I've read it will do better west facing and in slightly acid soil. I was thinking of moving it tomorrow?????
