Looking for suggestions. I 'had' a lovely hanging basket of violas but because of the wind and rain they are now a mess. despite deadheading as much as I could lots are going to seed and the rest are a yellow mess. I know I can't save the poor souls so I'm looking for suggestions as to what I could quickly pop in a basket to relace them. All suggestions welcome.

Sorry, should read 'potager' not pot anger! That could be something entirely different!

Happymarion I had a raised bed built last year as I have become disabled and can no longer garden in the way I used to. I use it for my veg, any advice on turning it into a pot anger? thank you.

Can I move my peony?

Posted: 09/02/2012 at 17:17
I moved a peony and split it up so that I had another 3 plants. The original one still flowers but the others have refused. This was about 6 years ago. Anything I can do to get them to flower or should I just give up and dig them up?

Happymarion I love your photographs. Is it possible to see a photograph of your whole conservatory of plants or is that impossible to do to be accepted on the site? We always see your garden and conservatory plants up close and I would love to see more pics of them as a whole.

Did my carrots and parsnips 'fork' last year because I put them in a raised bed with manure in it. I think this might be the case after reading the above comments.
