Hi Dean - you certainly have a very interesting selection of clothes in your wardrobe

Hmm - think I'd better stick to just the money LSD Geoff .  Was a 5/- crown in everyday use then?  My auntie used to go to Spain in the late 60s and we all thought that was really exotic.

Had forgotten about the long winter of '63 which was great for us kids - we would go to school and then get sent straight back home as all the toilets would be frozen (no indoor ones then).

Afternoon all.  Apologies for absence yesterday - had a bad migraine and couldn't look at anything bright, typical that it was sunny here too!  Am going to school tomorrow to work with groups of 9-11 year olds whose project is the 1960s - I am a living relic.  I've been thinking about what I remember most about that time as I was in school then and the things that stands out most for me were the Aberfan disaster, the moon landing and The Beatles.

Hope everyone is OK and not having any rain - dry and bright here all day so far

Some great buys there Becks.  I keep meaning to have a go myself.

Afternoon all.  Been to visit mother and deliver her groceries then went to a Green Christmas Fayre.  OH watching footie (Swansea v Liverpool goal-less draw) but at least was happier than Wales losing to All Blacks in rugby yesterday.

Congrats in order for Great Aunt Lottie - I've got 2 great nieces and they feel just like grandchildren to us (of which haven't any).  Sorry to hear about your poor little chick Pam - it takes some doing to outsmart those foxes.  Inka - keep up the good work!   Are we playing any games today Geoff?  Becks I have to make more mince pies soon and will trade you for some of your chocolate stash.

Gold Star Geoff.  Pity we don't have sound - we could play Name that Tune

Kate - stay strong for another few weeks then it's the Christmas Holidays.

Becks - I've been in the corner thinking and I've come up with some better jokes
