BJay - I've had suspect stuff from Santander too.  They informed me that all their mail will be addressed to you by name - never Dear Customer or anything like that. That often sorts out the bogus ones.

Geoff - are we good to go on the Advent Calendar?   Your hens sound very happy layers - have they all got names?

Our blue tit nest box has been used each year for the past 5/6 years - its never been touched by as and the birds spend a lot of time on renovations to get it just right before moving in each Spring.

I heard that a thick covering of autumn leaves masks the smell and fools the squirrel - haven't tried it myself so don't know if it works but everyone has plenty of leaves around at the moment

Afternoon all - everyone sounds very busy today. I'm having a lazy day today as OH is away for a few days.  Making little felt ornaments for Christmas trees which I put on friends/relations Christmas cards. Here's something for you today Jo
